Who Am I...
Dr Louise Randall
GP, Aesthetic Practitioner, Founder and Medical Advisor of GRIT Charity.
After qualifying as a doctor in 2004 from the Royal Free and University College London Medical School, Dr Louise has carved a unique niche in the healthcare landscape, embracing a career marked by diversity and dedication. Her journey in medicine began in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, where she not only honed her skills but also broadened her perspective during a transformative stint in South Africa. Transitioning to General Practice, she later specialised as an Aesthetic Doctor, intertwining her clinical acumen with her flair for aesthetic medicine.
Dr. Louise’s special interests span women’s health, aesthetic medicine, and mental health, areas where she applies her deep-seated passion for empowering individuals through medical and aesthetic care. Her philosophy in aesthetics is grounded in enhancing natural beauty to boost self-confidence and promote well-being, rather than merely altering appearances.
“I feel strongly that non-surgical aesthetic procedures should result in natural looking results and should be there to enhance natural features and restore self-confidence. I have been lucky enough to work under the supervision of Aesthetic expert Dr Ravi Jain at Riverbanks Clinic in Harpenden and gain further knowledge through his experience. This combined with regular attendances at conferences and training courses, including an IQ Level 7 in Injectables in Aesthetic Medicine, ensure that I practice to the highest, safest standard.”
Aside from her medical practice, Dr. Louise is a committed philanthropist. She is the founder and current medical advisor of the GRIT Charity (Growing Resilience in Teens) in Hitchin, an organisation dedicated to supporting teenagers through their most challenging years. GRIT focuses on opening up new experiences for young people, teaching them to understand and accept themselves to improve resilience and mental health. Combined with her aesthetics and GP work, this all helps bring Dr Randall’s three passions together.
“How you show up in life will affect how people respond to you and your experiences in the world. Unfortunately, as the muscles of our skin and face age, it can result in looking angry or sad when that is not the case at all. Treatments to counteract this can positively impact how people see you, and more importantly how you see yourself”
Dr. Louise’s work in medicine and charity is complemented by a fulfilling personal life, where she enjoys snowboarding, hiking, and baking with her husband and four children. Respected by peers and patients alike, she continues to impact lives across her various roles, ensuring she practices to the highest and safest standards in both the aesthetic and general medical fields.
